In June 2026, Hosh moderated a panel at SXSW London on the changes under way across Africa: in its economies, its institutions and its cultural life.

The conversation kept returning to a gap. The continent is moving faster than many outside perceptions of it, and that gap shapes who invests, who is listened to and how partnerships are formed. Hosh spoke about what it asks of leadership, investment and engagement, and why seeing Africa as it is, rather than as it is often imagined, matters for anyone who wants to work alongside it.
