Hosh Ibrahim is a British-born entrepreneurial leader and adviser of Sudanese and Egyptian heritage. Based in London, he works across Africa and internationally on governance, philanthropy, health, childhood development and human rights. Earlier in his career he worked in television, film and production as Hosh Kane. In Sudan, he helped his mother, Dr Hania Fadl OBE, establish the Khartoum Breast Care Centre, where he remains a trustee. He serves on the Mo Ibrahim Foundation Council and chairs its Now Generation Network; sits on the boards of Synergos, Outright International and the Fund for Global Human Rights; is a member of Sesame Workshop’s Global Advisory Board; and advises the CEO of the Global Black Economic Forum on African engagement. In 2026, Africa CDC invited him to join its ministerial committee on reforming the global health architecture. His starting point is much the same as the one he learnt early in life: understand the room before you try to change it.
